Dr. Donald Chase is a surgical pathologist at Loma Linda University Medical Center. Following residency training at Loma Linda, he spent a fellowship year in 1983-1984 at the Armed Forces Institute of Pathology in the soft tissue tumor section under Drs. Franz Enzinger and Sharon Weiss. After returning to Loma Linda, he became Co-Director of Surgical Pathology, later becoming Chief of Anatomic Pathology. In 1995 he became Executive Director of the California Tumor Tissue Registry, an organization dedicated to cancer diagnosis, education and research. Dr. Chase is Professor of Pathology and Human Anatomy at Loma Linda, and has published numerous articles in many areas of pathology. He is a member of numerous pathology and surgical oncology organizations and gives editorial services for several journals. His interest in photography and computer imagery is evidenced in this CD-ROM. All the graphics-rich images in this CD were produced by him on his desktop.
