N. Engin AYDIN, MD eaydin@inonu.edu.tr, from Inonu University Malatya, Turkey said on 19:22:44 Jun/29/2000:

These are excellent teaching aids for all Pathology teachers and students. Highly recommendable after seeing various similar products, we rank these as number one and hope to see new subjects covered in the future. We wish success to the people participating and appreciate their efforts, With our best wishes...

Soo-Yong Tan, MRCPath postmaster@sytan.abel.co.uk, from Medico-Legal Centre, University of Sheffield Sheffield, UK said on 15:50:39 Sep/14/1999:

The excellent photographs and layout make learning a truly enjoyable experience. It combines the benefits of attending a full seminar by leaders in the field with the convenience of viewing as and when one chooses. Unlike a conventional lecture, you do not have to worry about missing a point or failing to see a feature in a photograph that has flashed by too quickly. You can review it as often as you like and so caters to the pace of the student.

Lawrence R. Rubel, MD lprubel@pol.net, from VA Medical Center Louisville, KY USA said on 11:52:56 Aug/10/1999:

The entire series has been very useful to me, especially the lymphoma and prostate presentations. My associates frequently borrow them from me. I look forward to viewing the dermatopathology CD-ROM when it is issued. Other topics I'd like to see are cytology and neuropathology. Keep up the good work!

Dr Andrzej Eichelkraut patane@rito.no, from Dept.of Pathology, Univ.Hosp.Rito Tromso, Norway said on 05:38:39 Aug/06/1999:

I agree that the Pathology Master Series is a very good idea. It is very nice to sit in cold climate in Northern Norway and to hear prof.Lewin's lecture from warm California. But is very unpleasant to see prof. Banks only in 256 colors on my PC. Also the last CD-ROM has bad voice (hoarseness of prof. Romansky?). I have all your disks and I find McNeal's Prostate as the best in whole collection. Congratulation! I'm looking forward next CD-ROMS.

Grant Hayashi, M.D. ghayashi@u.washington.edu, from University of Washington Seattle, WA USA said on 08:01:19 Aug/05/1999:

The Pathology Masters Series is a great resource for pathologists-in-training. The images are very clear, and the audio is excellent. It's like getting a 3-4 hour didactic session while sitting at home! In addition, some of the CDs have a file with the speaker's handout. I've found the CDs helpful both for board review as well as teaching junior residents.

William H. Hartmann, M.D. , from American Board of Pathology Tampa, FL USA said on 22:54:12 Aug/03/1999:

Dr. Chan's Endocrine Tumors CD-ROM is very good. The illustrations are superb! I was able to make all the images work. Thank you.

I have enjoyed your Lymphoproliferative Disorders by Peter M. Banks CD-ROM. Please let me know of any other CD-ROM material that you may have. Please place me on your mailing list.

Franz M. Enzinger, M.D. , from Bethesda, MD USA said on 19:26:50 Aug/03/1999:

I am really impressed by the high quality of the Soft Tissue Tumors by Donald Chase, M.D. CD-ROM disk. It is an admirable job and I think you can be proud of it. It is not only well organized, but text and pictures are excellent and well chosen, and your comments sound as if they were coming from a professional commentator with long years of experience. I think you certainly should do more of these!

Kurt Benirschke, M.D. kbenirsc@ucsd.edu, from UC San Diego San Diego, CA USA said on 22:45:35 Aug/01/1999:

The Placental Pathology CD by Stephen Romansky, M.D. is absolutely superior! What a splendid idea to make such a presentation and it is so absolutely superiorly done. It is a joy to hear your voice, the exactitude of expression and the brevity in explaining the content. The photos are superb and this should become a bestseller, if I ever saw one. I hope that it can be widely distributed. It beats writing a book, although surely this took an enormous amount of time. And the video/computer guy who did this with you must be a whiz kid! My warmest congratulations. May you have many sales with this!

These are very impressive discs. Great learning tools! Better than the textbooks. It's like taking the professor home with you. When are there going to be more discs? Do you have any other fields covered outside of pathology.

Fernando and Mara Pimazoni, MD mfpimazoni@surfnet.com.br, from Private Doctor and Teacher Botucatu, SP BRAZIL said on 16:44:44 Jul/29/1999:

I am eager to get my "Prostate Pathology by John McNeal, M.D." CD which I bought at USCAP meeting in Boston. These are excellent learning devices, very useful to us practicing surgical pathologists. I already have the "Prognostic Factors in Breast Carcinoma by Noel Weidner, M.D." and "GI Tumors by Klaus Lewin, M.D." CDs.

Farhan Taghizadeh , from Penn State College of Med Philadelphia, PA USA said on 15:54:56 Jul/29/1999:

Dr. Chan's Endocrine Tumors CD gives one access to a virtual pathologist who talks one through complicated microscopic sections. We were impressed with the production quality of thes multimedia pathology review. The "auto-play" option really gives one the feeling of sitting alongside an experienced pathologist behind the microscope. The insertion of arrows synchronized with the audio facilitates the explanations. It is a very good teaching product for anyone wanting to better understand thyroid and parathyroid pathology.

John J. Buchino, M.D. , from U. of Louisville Kosair Children's Hospital Louisville, KY USA said on 16:49:19 Jul/28/1999:

Placental Pathology comes to CD-ROM! Dr. Romansky has produced an excellent CD which covers all aspects of placental evaluation in a well-organized, easy-to-follow fashion. His narration is succinct but appropriately informative. The real treasure-trove in this CD is the collection of 405 gross and microscopic photographs. They are all of high quality and full color. These images can be downloaded to be used at clinical conferences or lectures. One would be hard pressed to find a printed text with comparable photographs at so low a price! I highly recommend this CD for anyone interested in placental pathology. Certainly, no pathology residency program should be without it. It is particularly valuable as a board review tool and to general pathologists wishing to go beyond the "placenta with 3 vessel cord" diagnosis.

Richard Miller, M.D. , from Bellflower, CA USA said on 00:22:53 Jul/25/1999:

A comprehensive and clear one on one seminar on prostate pathology. What more could you want? An excellent teaching resource for advanced medical students, pathology residents, and a must for any pathologist involved in the examination of prostate specimens.

Beverly Dahms, M.D. bbd@po.cwru.edu, from Cleveland, OH USA said on 00:12:41 Jul/25/1999:

The placenta CD-ROM is superb and an important contribution to the field. I'm surprised that it's as advanced as it is. You dive right in to medicolegal aspects, thrombi, cord controversies and other things many others won't take a stand on. We are impressed by the # and quality (crisp, clean, excellent resolution) of the photos, gross and micro.
