We would like to extend our condolences to the family of Dr. Klaus Lewin who passed away last year in October 2005. Dr. Lewin is the author of our Tumors of the Gastrointestinal Tract CD-ROM. Dr. Lewin was a pleasure to work with, with an amicable spirit, an easy laugh, and a very enthusiastic attitude to producing a wonderful talking CD-ROM version of his seminar on Gastrointestinal Pathology. We will miss him dearly along with the rest of the anatomic pathology world. A memorium was published in the American Journal of Surgical Pathology and is reproduced here.
